As an artist I create nature-inspired textile-based work. My work incorporates hand-dyeing, free machine stitching, painting, drawing and fabric manipulation to reflect forms found in nature. I aim to let the natural environment unfold in my work through the materials I use and for connections of place to present themselves, a type of nature revealing.

By exploring a variety of fibres and surface treatments, I invite tactile engagement and a sense of curiosity about the native world. Each piece develops naturally as I adapt to changes in color, texture, and light on the stitched surfaces. This intuitive process allows unexpected elements to emerge, echoing the unpredictability and diversity found in bushland, coastal edges, or quiet undergrowth.

My intention is to evoke a feeling of connection—encouraging viewers to slow down, look closely, and reflect on the intricate beauty present in our natural surroundings.
