I am a painter interested in investigating the qualities of acrylic paint in combination with other mediums such as inks, paper and natural materials to produce a variety of textures on multiple surfaces.

A dominant subject of my work is the impact of humans on the landscape and the reverse effect of nature changing human behaviour and activity. Travel and observation has reinforced my interest in this theme.

At present my work has been a combination of paint and inks to form a base, followed by over-drawing using ink and paint pens. These works focus on themes drawn from our natural environment. I am also working on cutting stencils to use with a silk screen to print on paper and fabric.
